How about one that someone got 25% of the way into converting into a “rat rod”.
Check out the 70's chevy sedan wheel for extra ...coolness?
The sad part is, if it was a manual I’d be tempted to buy it to turn into some kind of vette kart.

Wasn’t this on FP a while back? I’m looking for the link, will update when I find it.

I think the term “rat rod” has lost pretty much all of its original meaning.

Sometimes I wonder if people are too hung up on having a manual transmission that they miss out on having fun. Regardless of transmission this thing is begging for a kart-treatment, if you want to build one don’t give yourself a minute to think about it and just buy the thing. Guaranteed it’s more fun than holding out for a manual and subsequently never building a kart.

I have four cars right now, two of which are projects. So I need to be very picky about picking up more.

To me, that unfinished heap is only worth $500

Nope! I would never be happy with it. (I know that is my own weakness - but I know myself well enough not to settle for the slush box.)

It’s worth whatever a carbureted L98 and a 700r4 is worth, I think. Probably right about $500, haha.
